Postponed — New Requirements for Requalification of Specification Cylinders
January 27, 2017On January 24, 2017, the President of the United States issued an Executive Order requesting his appointees and designees to review new and pending regulations in the next 60 days. Therefore, the January 23, 2017 effective date for new requirements for requalification of specification cylinders has been temporarily postponed. Until further notice, the requalification date for specification cylinders will return to 12 years from the date of manufacture.
The Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) will provide an update on this requirement when information becomes available.
